Bump Into Someone

 Bump into someone = terserempak / tersua dengan seseorang secara tidak sengaja.

“I am in Aussie, hope to bump into your sister. “

Maksudnya.  Saya ada kat Aussie, harap nanti terserempak dengan kakak awak (sbb dia melancong ke sini). 

Slippery Slope

“Kalau kita mula benarkan benda kecil, lama-lama akan jadi semakin teruk.”

“If I let her stay up late tonight, it’s a slippery slope. Soon, she’ll be staying up every night.”
“Giving him one extra day off could be a slippery slope. He might start expecting it every week.”
“If we allow one exception, it could be a slippery slope.”
“Don’t start borrowing money from friends. It’s a slippery slope.”

Yang paling common dalam conversation:

= Ini boleh jadi permulaan kepada masalah

I have lost the plot

 Kalau orang Aussie cakap "I've lost the plot", selalunya mereka maksudkan "I'm so confused", "I'm all over the place", atau "my brain isn't working properly right now." Biasanya nada dia santai atau bergurau.

Maksudnya:

• Dah hilang arah / tak tahu apa yang dibuat.
• Jadi keliru atau tak dapat ikut apa yang sedang berlaku.
• Kadang-kadang juga bermaksud seseorang bertindak macam dah tak betul atau tak masuk akal (lebih kepada gurauan).

Contoh:

• I've lost the plot. What was I doing again?
  → Aku dah blur. Apa yang aku tengah buat tadi?
• He's completely lost the plot.
  → Dia dah macam tak betul / dah merapu.
• Sorry, I've lost the plot after working 12 hours.
  → Maaf, otak aku dah jem selepas kerja 12 jam.

Unwitting

tak sengaja TERtanam pokok ini.

Unwitting" means not aware of or unintentional. 

An example would be: 

"She became an unwitting accomplice to the crime when she unknowingly provided the thief with access to the building."

TAK SENGAJA.

Carrot and Zucchini Soup

Ingredients

1 large zucchini or 2 small zucchinis

1 medium size carrot

1 clove of garlic

2 tablespoons of oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons of flour

1 glass of water Milk

4 cups hot water

1 pinch of dill

Salt

Black pepper

Preparation of:

First of all, chop the zucchini and carrots into small cubes. If you want, you can also do this by grating it.

Heat the oil and butter in the pot. First, sauté the carrots a little. Then add the zucchini and continue roasting. Sprinkle flour on top and fry a little more. Then pour hot water over it and cook until the vegetables soften. When the vegetables are soft, add salt, vegetable seasoning if available and grated garlic. Finally, add a glass of warm milk, finely chopped dill and black pepper, boil for a while, then remove from the stove.
